What this site is not
It is not a ranking of "best prop firms", and it does not promise that you will pass or profit. Trading involves the risk of losing your capital.
When a firm is named, it is to quote its published rules, with the date the rule was checked. No scores, no "recommended" badges.
The numbers, before you pay a fee
Across 10 firms and 300,000 accounts, about 14% passed a challenge, and about 45% of those who passed received a payout, averaging 4% of the plan size. The other six in seven paid an average of $800, usually across three attempts (Finance Magnates, September 2024).
People do pass. Most of the ones who do not lose the fee for reasons that have nothing to do with market direction.

Why rules, not returns
I ran 1,000 simulated challenges with the trade direction decided by a coin flip, across 54 different position-sizing rules. With no edge at all, fixing the risk per trade and the stop-for-the-day kept disqualification at 0–1%. Most accounts then ran out of time instead of blowing up.
Sizing will not make you pass. It decides whether you are still in the challenge when your edge shows up.
I learned both of these the slow way. A live order of mine once sized its stop from a 15-minute candle that was a month old, and on a demo day where new entries were already blocked, the account still slid to −3.11% because yesterday's stops were still open.
